As we kick off the year in tumultuous and uncertain global circumstances, we thought it would be encouraging to share with our community a list of some incredible movers and shakers that are casting a bright light. The following is a collection of people who are not just masters in their own domain but are also helping to spread incredibly insightful and enlightening knowledge across multiple disciplines. Among them you will find artists, researchers, scientists, writers, entrepreneurs, navy seals and spiritualists; each with their own unique message. As many of you know, philosophy and sharing insights has become an important part of our brand as we try to integrate this wisdom into how we approach the Parallel brand and our lives. We hope you can take away some golden nuggets from this incredible collection of people and use it in your lives.

Here is part one of our list:

1. Aubrey Marcus



Aubrey Marcus is the founder of Onnit, a lifestyle brand based on a holistic health philosophy he calls Total Human Optimization. Onnit is an industry leader with products optimizing millions of lives, including many top professional athletes around the world. Aubrey currently hosts the Aubrey Marcus Podcast, a motivational destination for conversations with the brightest minds in athletics, business, mindset and spirituality with over 35 million downloads on iTunes. He regularly provides commentary to outlets like Entrepreneur, Forbes, The Tim Ferriss Show, and The Joe Rogan Experience. He is the host of the Fit For Service Fellowship, and is the author of the NYT Bestselling book Own The Day, Own Your. If you ask Aubrey the cause he is most passionate about, it is raising awareness for psychedelic medicine, through organizations like MAPS.org and Heffter Institute. He is a 20 year native of Austin, Texas where he currently resides.

2. David Goggins



David Goggins is a retired United States Navy SEAL and former United States Air Force Tactical Air Control Party member, author, speaker and one of the world’s best ultra-endurance athletes. He has competed in more than 60 endurance races, has placed 3rd at the Badwater 135 Death Valley - considered the world’s toughest foot race, and regularly placing in the top five in other ultramarathons. He also held the Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups done in 24 hours completing 4,030 in 17 hours. His 2018 memoir "Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds" was a New York Times Bestseller with over 2.5 million copies sold. His famous "Stay Hard" attitude has become a meme in its own right and has helped motivate thousands of people to become their best selves.

3. Naval Ravikant


Naval Ravikant is the CEO and co-founder of AngelList. He’s invested in more than 100 companies, including Uber, Twitter, Yammer, and many others. In recent years Naval has become widely followed for his thoughts on philosophy, cosmology, crypto, wealth, and happiness. His many appearances on the Tim Ferris podcast have produced incredible lists of suggested reading, and excellent philosophical tidbits. In 2018 he released an incredible tweet storm entitled "How to Get Rich (without getting lucky)" that became so popular that he ended up turning it into an audio series and podcast. Most recently he collaborated on the release of a book Eric Jorgenson, with Illustrations by Jack Butcher, and a Foreword by Tim Ferriss that collects and curates his wisdom from Twitter, Podcasts, and Essays over the past decade.

4. Zach Bush MD


Zach Bush MD is a Triple board-certified physician applying the rigor of science, the strength of humanity, and the intelligence of nature to transform the world. He is an internationally recognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease, and food systems. Dr Zach founded *Seraphic Group and the nonprofit Farmer’s Footprint to develop root-cause solutions for human and ecological health. 5. Peter Crone



Peter Crone, known as "The Mind Architect" is a writer, speaker and thought leader in human potential who works with entertainers, professional athletes, and global organizations. Peter redesigns the subconscious mind that drives behavior to inspire a new way of living, from limitation and stress to freedom and joy. With a series of really powerful interview appearances in 2020 on podcasts with  Aubrey Marcus, Maria Menounos, Dr Rangan Chatterjee, and Max Lugavere, Peter has really solidified his place as a thought leader in the human awakening and potential movement.

Mikhaila Peterson is the daughter of infamous professor and author Jordan Peterson. She is a Canadian podcaster, and health and diet blogger. Her podcast, 'The Mikhaila Peterson Podcast' provides a platform where she hosts a wide range of experts to discuss health, cultural phenomena, politics, and other topics that are often shied away from. Recently she has hosted insightful conversations with the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Wim Hof, Jocko WIlink, Dr. Paul Saladino and more.

7. Polina Marinova Pompliano


Polina is the founder and author of The Profile a newsletter and website that compiles the best long-form stories on successful people and companies. It launched in 2017 with a selection of long form articles and has further expanded with a premium tier of high-quality audio and video recommendations and deep-dives on prominent figures. She has her finger on the pulse of some of the most interesting and relevant stories and figures of our time

8. Dr. Rhonda Patrick



Dr. Rhonda Patrick, PhD, is an American biochemist who has done extensive research on aging, cancer, and nutrition. Her groundbreaking work includes studies of how vitamin and mineral inadequacies impact metabolism, inflammation, DNA, and aging, and whether supplementation can reverse the damage. She is an endless source of medically approved nutritional information and in 2020 used her Found My Fitness platform to help shine some light on way to prevent and help treat COVID 19.

9. Dr. Joe Dispenza



Dr. Joe Dispenza is a New York Times best selling author, researcher of epigenetics, quantum physics & neuroscience. As a researcher, lecturer, author, and corporate consultant, his interest lies in demystifying the mystical so that people have all the tools within their reach to make measurable changes in their lives. He has been featured in documentaries "What the BLEEP Do We Know!?" and "The People vs The State of Illusion" and is a frequent contributor of content to GAIA. He is a frequent guest on podcasts with Tom Bilyeu, Brian Rose, Lewis Howes and Aubrey Marcus among many others.

10. Andrew Huberman



Andrew is an American neuroscientist and tenured professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He has made numerous important contributions to the fields of brain development, brain plasticity, and neural regeneration and repair. A large amount of that work focused on the visual system, including the mechanisms that control light-mediated activation of the circadian and autonomic arousal centers in the brain, as well as the brain control over conscious vision or sight. He rose to prominence this year through appearances on podcasts with Joe Rogan, Lex Friedman and Rich Roll, before launching his own series to explain how the brain works.
