Yerba Mate (pronounced "yerba-mah-tay"):
It is a rainforest holly plant native to South America, growing in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil. A nutritional powerhouse, it is loaded with vitamins and minerals. There are 196 active compounds found in the Yerba Mate plant, containing more antioxidants than green tea, as well as mood enhancing compounds Theobromine and Theophylline.
